This module is required by all other modules in order to talk to position sensing equipment. GCS: Base is part of the GeoSite Manager System. GCS: Base simiplifies the long and complex initialization of position sensing equipment. Resetup on existing jobs is automated. The sofware also eliminates the need to remember cryptic setup commands for positional equipment. GCS: Base provides long descriptions of setup functions, executable with a user-friendly menu. This module controls GCS base stations and several other types of positioning equipment bases, such as robotic transits and lasers.
