GCS: Utility

Coordinate Geometry Assistance, Data Entry and Manipulation

Convenient data editing functions are available throughout the program. These utilities are:

  • PPELine extracts points by a user given label prefix and puts them together in a separate file.
  • Slope Check will flag points higher than a user set-able slope, such as all points with a slope greater than 2:1.
  • Svydel allows you to graphically select an area on screen and the program will delete the point in the file closest to it.
  • RoadCalculation takes the specifications for a road then calculates all the points inbetween sections and places them in a file.
  • Speedchk is used for filtering out points that have been collected at too high of speed.
